It sort of evolved from a band that Dave and I had been in called the Outkids. The bass player left (he manages a Kentucky Fried Chicken now) and we got Bill to play bass. This was about '75. We started a couple of years before that.

It's frustrating at times because we play some places and there aren't that many people there. With the Feelies, I can't remember the last show we did where it wasn't pretty packed.
