The Slackers Quotes

Well, the songwriting is more about where I�m at, and where the band�s at. You know, books like that are circulating around the band, and it kinda fits in with the attitude we�re in right now. There�s a lot of reflective stuff. It�s funny, the books that get passed around in the band at different times you know? Sometimes it�s all Star Wars books; other times it�s Beat writers. It�s weird. (laughs) But I felt like Visions of Gerard really reflected the feelings of the band. And I love that book, because it is so pure. I see it as being smoky. It�s this smoky, kinda wintery thing.
