Choosing which songs to include was actually very difficult. I could have selected between 150 and 200 songs at the drop of a hat! I could easily make a whole series of albums based on this music, in fact. What I tried to do at the end of the day was to select the absolute classics - and cover songs that would interest those sectors of the French public who aren't necessarily big fans of American folk or country. Having said that, however, it seems to me that French music fans are getting more and more into folk and country these days.
