Well, I was actually raised in Scotch Plains, and I've been here most of my adult life- the better part of 50 years now. I suppose I came back after periods in Boston and New York because this is where my family had been for several generations- most of my immediate family relocated to Georgia a few years ago, so my wife and I are really the only ones still here. Being in a place like this gives you a chance to breathe which you don't have, living in the middle of a large city.
