I grew up in Monkstown and then in Dalkey, but I�m a Dun Laoghaire person really. It was an interesting place to grow up, the social mix was quite diverse. School-wise, I ended up in Blackrock College. I wouldn�t say that I was bookish kid exactly; I wouldn�t have been a swot in school. But I had a fairly good idea that it was kind of smart to do your Leaving Cert and get a half-way decent result!
